About Us
The mission of the East Texas Food Bank is to fight hunger and feed hope in East Texas. Our vision is a hunger-free East Texas.

Since 1988, the East Texas Food Bank, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has provided food to over 200 partner agencies, in an effort to feed children, the working poor and seniors throughout
26 counties in East Texas.

In 2012, over 16 million pounds of food was distributed to hungry East Texans equaling 14 million meals. 1 in 4 children, 1 in 5 adults and 1 in 7 seniors in East Texas are "at-risk of hunger".
