Join in the P
ound for Pound Challenge

Do you want to shed some pounds and help feed the hungry? This year, you can help feed those who are struggling with hunger while doing something good for yourself. KETK and the East Texas Food Bank are teaming up for the Pound for Pound Challenge.

Once again, General Mills, The Biggest Loser and Feeding America have joined forces to support the Pound for Pound Challenge, which will help Americans lose weight while providing hunger relief.

For every pound lost, General Mills and other partners will donate 14 cents to Feeding America. The sponsors will contribute a total of up to $1.5 million. Feeding America will then distribute the money to local food banks, based on the zip codes of those who participate.

So the more pounds East Texans lose the more money that will go to the East Texas Food Bank. To sign up for the challenge, click here.
