The East Texas Food Bank achieves its mission of providing food to people in need throughout East Texas by partnering with you. The work is funded by gifts – large and small – from individuals, corporations, foundations and others in east Texas and nationwide.  Your gifts make a difference – in the lives of more than 183,000 East Texans.

Make a difference...

  • $1.00 provides food for up to eight meals.


  • $25 provides milk for 100 growing children for one month.


  • $50 can feed a family of four for a week.


  • $156 feeds a senior very weekend for a year.


  • $500 provides a month of hot meals for children in an after-school program.


  • $1,000 pays for rural delivery routes in a 26-county service region for a week.


  • $2,500 provides a truck load of fresh produce.


  • $5,000 helps the food bank purchase warehouse equipment to help distribute food to more than 200 partner agencies.


  • $10,000 provides more 1,600 boxes of food to families, through the Mobile Pantry program, that cannot get to a food pantry.
