Virtual Food Drives

Food Sorting

**Food donations can be accepted at our warehouse in Tyler during business hours.**

You can raise money to help our East Texas neighbors in need online! Our Virtual Food Drives make it easy for you, your business, organization or group to get involved in the fight against hunger with a unique way to fundraise on our behalf.

Virtual Food Drives raise dollars instead of cans, which helps the East Texas Food Bank provide even more food for the children, families and seniors we serve throughout 26 East Texas counties.

Why hold a Virtual Food Drive?

  • You can help more hungry people. The East Texas Food Bank uses every dollar to provide more meals than you can purchase at a store.
  • No collecting and transporting food.  Funds arrive immediately to the East Texas Food Bank, so we are able to put those dollars to work fast. This saves you and us time from having to transport, inspect and sort donated food drive items. Virtual Food Drives also lower the risk of exposure to COVID-19 and other illnesses.
  • Flexible funds.  All dollars generated through Virtual Food Drives are put towards the area of greatest need by the East Texas Food Bank.
  • Friends, family and coworkers can get involved. Everyone can make gifts through your Virtual Food Drive page to help reach your fundraising goal.

How do I get started?

ClipboardFirst, let us know you would like to set up a Virtual Food Drive by completing a Virtual Food Drive Request. Once the form is submitted, we will contact you for a monetary goal, a logo you would like to use and any additional information you would like to appear on your page.
Once setup is complete, we will send you a link to your virtual food drive page that you can share with your employees, customers, associates, friends, family and more.  Anyone who donates through your page will receive an automated email receipt acknowledging their gift from the East Texas Food Bank.
